Welcome to Mayall Road!

We are a street of approximately 200 residences and 150 children. Every year we celebrate our children with a street party in which everyone can participate and feel proud of their neighbourhood. Throughout the year there clubs, street cinemas, baby groups and much more, all of which is posted on this site and our mailing list. Come join us a this year's street party or wander down and take in Mayall Road's good vibes.

Mayallroad.co.uk is back up and running!

Sorry for the radio silence, the site is now using Wordpress so that anyone on the street can post content and the site can be adminstered by multiple users.

Watch this space for new developments in the near future.

cheers

Hi Alex, glad you like it! I have added your name as a contributor to the site which will allow you to write posts. You’ll be receiving an e-mail shortly with your password and instructions.

  • Kay our Street Cleaner has been at it 25 years and still cares and has a cheery word. Isn’t she great?

Empty property at 215 will receive attention by Pest Controllers!

You’ve only to see the Estate Agent flyers to know how desirable Mayall Road is. Lesser known poets corner? More of a Pam Ayers than Wlliam Shakespeare but none the worse for that.

  • Mayall Pattern Baldness ?

How did we come by the name?

Was the road was named after John Mayall (‘Blues Breakers’ – home to Peter Green & Eric Clapton) or to Rik Mayall (The Young Ones)or some forgotten figure locally?
