Hi everyone
You are warmly invited to join in the next Street Party Meeting on the above date and time. It will be held on the street green (corner of Mayall Road and Chaucer Road).
There will also be a BBQ, I will be roasting a whole lamb on a spit over charcoal. The car wash fundraiser has paid for half of the cost of the lamb and fuel but a donation on the day towards the cost will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to ask people to bring things to go with the lamb. Salads, cous cous, chips etc to go with it.
Vegetarians will be catered for, Bryan and Lisa who are our resident veggie gurus will be running a vegetarian bbq so please bring something along to cook on the bbq. Fish, veggies etc.
One final request, please bring some drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and let us all share in this bbq and put our thoughts together on how we organise the Mayall Road Street Party 2010. I will provide a big bucket with ice to keep the drinks cool.
